O father I grieve with you, the pain of loss blackens our hearts,
this disdain you feel, when your love was killed,
your thirst for revenge can only tear us apart…
King of the blood…
Betrayed, no choice but to escape,
my kin has gone insane, not who he once was,
Summoned, by the lord of the darkness,
commanding his night hordes, across the land..
I slumber in a tomb deep below,
waiting for my time to come,
Disturbed from my rest by an ancient foe,
cursed by my father’s return,
Together with our destinies intertwined,
through shadow we walk this same path,
a journey into the evil unknown,
to slay the Impaler, tyrant of death..
Mass graves, humanity enslaved,
the towns are all burning, for the sin of one priest,
Armies, of demons keep coming,
spreading destruction, ‘til the light reaches in...
The battle still rages on as we pass, through the halls of
this great fortress that I once called my home…
With magic and weapons, we kill all who oppose,
as we make our way to the place,
where my father lingers there on his throne…
My destiny is calling, I make the move forward,
the fury of hatred that burned in his eyes..
Violently mourning, bloody tears are now falling,
for the wife he loved so dear,
Accepting his fate, as I strike with my blade,
felled by the hand of his only son,
He turns to stone, as I stand there alone..
watching in horror as he turns to dust..
Black skies, the morning that he died,
the unholy scourge that served him, swept away..
Dethroned, his castle now my own,
the only heir, this is where I remain…
until the end.
